Copycat Cranberry Bliss Bars

Copycat Cranberry Bliss Bars

Ingredients:

Bar

  • 3 cups blanched almond flour

  • 1 tbsp coconut sugar

  • 1/2 tsp baking soda

  • 1/4 tsp baking powder

  • 1 pinch salt

  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

  • 1 1/2 cups dried cranberries

  • 1/2 cup palm shortening

  • 6 tbsp pure maple syrup

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • 1 tsp orange extract

Frosting

  • 1 container of Simple Mills Vanilla frosting

  • 1 tsp orange extract

Topping

  • 1/4 cup frosting reserved

  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries chopped

Instructions:

  1. For the bars: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a 13x9 inch pan with parchment paper.

  2. In a medium size bowl, combine all ingredients, and stir to combine. Press into parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly browned . Remove from oven and let cool.

  3. Reserve about 1/4 cup of frosting and place in a ziplock bag.

  4. Frost the bars. Top with chopped dried cranberries. Snip the corner of the ziplock bag , and drizzle bar with remaining frosting.

  5. Cut into triangles, and enjoy!
