Copycat Cranberry Bliss Bars
Ingredients:
Bar
3 cups blanched almond flour
1 tbsp coconut sugar
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1 pinch salt
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1 1/2 cups dried cranberries
1/2 cup palm shortening
6 tbsp pure maple syrup
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 tsp orange extract
Frosting
1 container of Simple Mills Vanilla frosting
1 tsp orange extract
Topping
1/4 cup frosting reserved
1/3 cup dried cranberries chopped
Instructions:
For the bars: Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and line a 13x9 inch pan with parchment paper.
In a medium size bowl, combine all ingredients, and stir to combine. Press into parchment paper and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until lightly browned . Remove from oven and let cool.
Reserve about 1/4 cup of frosting and place in a ziplock bag.
Frost the bars. Top with chopped dried cranberries. Snip the corner of the ziplock bag , and drizzle bar with remaining frosting.
Cut into triangles, and enjoy!
