Classic Margarita
I once thought that there was no such thing as a bad margarita. After crafting and perfecting this recipe, boy was I wrong. Never again will I settle for mix-made or blended margaritas. I crave fresh, simple ingredients shaken and on the rocks. There is an alternate to make this recipe a “Cadillac” which simply means adding a splash of moderately priced orange liquor. I love it both ways, my husband, however is a purist. And this is coming from a guy, that before I embarked my 6 month long journey of crafting the perfect margarita, claimed he didn’t like tequila. We can both safely say that this is no longer the case. May your limes be plentiful and your tequila be chilled.
